The Northeast MA/Southeast NH Squadron originally named the Northeastern MA/NH Squadron was formed by John “Pete” LaFond of Westford, MA and Bradford “Brad” Smith of Nashua, NH in 1999 with two consecutive annual meetings being held at the American Legion Post 313 in Chelmsford, MA.

After a lapse of three years the squadron reformed and has been hosting annual dinner/dance cruises on the MS Mount Washington cruise ship on Lake Winnipausakee in NH. (photos at bottom of page)

A breakfast/meeting was held on May 20, 2008 at Skip’s Restaurant Chelmsford, MA with SAFB vets from MA and NH attending. On June 25, 2008 a luncheon/meeting was held with 22 vets, wives and friends in attendance. A vote was held at that time and Norm Morency was elected as Squadron Commander and Pete LaFond as Vice Commander.

Our group meets for breakfast on the first Tuesday of each month at the Comets Diner, 22 Westford Road, Tyngsboro, MA.

Our next breakfast will be held on Tuesday March 2, 2010 at Comet Diner, 22 Westford Road , Tyngsboro, MA at 9 AM.

Luncheon held on Saturday December 12, 2009

Our Squadron held a luncheon on Saturday December 12, 2009 at Valentinos’s Restaurant in Hudson, NH. The luncheon was enjoyed by the twenty nine vets /spouses/ friends in attendance. Joining us were members from the SE MA /Cape Cod and Western MA Squadrons.
All commented about the dining atmosphere and how good the food was.

Breakfast held on Tuesday February 2, 2010
Thirteen Sampson vets enjoyed getting together for the February breakfast. All enjoyed the food and exchanging stories about their experiences while at Sampson and other Air Force Assigments.
