Southeast MA/Cape Cod/Islands

Phil Pender SAFBVA New England Squadron Coordinator held a meeting with Sampson Air Force/Navy vets from SE MA/Cape Cod/Islands at Leo's Restaurant in Buzzards Bay on Wednesday November 5, 2008 for the purpose of forming a local squadron.

Eleven Sampson Air Force/Navy vets attended. The group enjoyed meeting one another and also exchanging stories about their time in service and at Sampson.

Dave Valler SAFBVA Member # 4050 from Kingston, MA volunteered as Commander and Carl Wenberg Member # 935 from So.Yarmouth, MA as Vice Commander.
